My intention as a trainer is to reinforce your connection with all living animals. Those closest to us, our companion animals, hold great wisdom, and they can teach us how to slow down and be present.

I help you build a stronger relationship with your dog through proper communication, boundary setting, and establishing a calm and loving leadership. I respect and honor the varying emotional and mental states of both you and your dog and customize each session to accommodate your needs.

I work with the Tenderfoot Natural Dog Training Philosophy, which allows people and dogs to work towards a trusting relationship with each other. 

This philosophy believes that the foundation of training is built on love, trust and respect, rather than treats, devices or fear. I have found that dogs naturally understand the language of relationship and have much to teach us humans. 

TF training is informed by over three decades of studying animal behavior by using natural ‘pressure and release’ techniques to set boundaries.

I can help you find a harmonious, balanced relationship through every interaction you have with your pet. Whether playing, walking, or petting, I believe all interactions are crucial in maintaining a good relationship. I will help you foster and maintain clear and loving expectations for right and wrong behavior. Fair and consistent communication establishes leadership and creates a close, trusting bond.

If you must cancel or reschedule we ask for 24 hours notice. Cancellations, rescheduling or no shows without 24H notice will result in 100% of the service cost charged to the credit card used to schedule.
